Yadong Luo, University of Miami
Dr. Yadong Luo is the Emery M. Findley Distinguished Chair and Professor of Management at University of Miami. His research interests include global strategy, international management, and emerging market business and management. He has published over 160 articles in major refereed journals in management, including AMJ, ASQ, AMR, SMJ, JIBS, JAP, Org. Science, among others. He also authored more than a dozen books and about a hundred other publications. He is an AIB fellow, editor of several IB and management journals, and advisory board member of several universities in China.

Jay Barney, University of Utah
Jay B. Barney is a Presidential Professor of Strategic Management and Pierre Lassonde Chair of Social Entrepreneurship at the University of Utah. He previously served as the Professor of Management and held the Chase Chair for Excellence in Corporate Strategy at the Max M. Fisher College of Business, Ohio State University. His research focuses on how firms can gain and sustain competitive advantages. He has been an associate editor for the Journal of Management, a senior editor for Organization Science, a co-editor at the Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, and has been published in numerous leading publications. In addition to his teaching and research, he presents executive training programs throughout the US and Europe. Jay Barney is an SMS Fellow as well as a Fellow of the Academy of Management. He has received honorary doctorate degrees from the University of Lund, the Copenhagen Business School, and Universidad Pontificia Comillas (Madrid), and has had honorary visiting professor positions in New Zealand and China.

Jeffrey Reuer, University of Colorado, Boulder
Jeffrey J. Reuer is the Guggenheim Endowed Chair and Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the University of Colorado. He is a Fellow of the SMS and the first recipient of the SMS Emerging Scholar Award. He is an Associate Editor of the Strategic Management Journal and a co-editor of a SMJ special issue on the interplay of competition and cooperation, as well as a co-editor of a special issue on international collaborations at the Global Strategy Journal. He was a co-founder of the Cooperative Strategies Interest Group and was a program chair of two SMS conferences. He has also been active in the SMS as a chair of the Doctoral Workshop, an organizer of pre-conference sessions, and a judge for the SMS Best Conference Paper Prize. His research uses organizational economics to investigate firms' external corporate development activities. Recent projects are on the governance and design of alliances, collaborative strategies, and applications of information economics and real options theory to various corporate and international strategy problems.

Yan Anthea Zhang, Rice University
Yan “Anthea” Zhang is Professor of Strategic Management and Area Coordinator of the Strategy and Environment Group in the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University. She has been a highly prolific scholar in the profession with a number of publications appearing in top scholarly journals, such as Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of International Business Studies, among others. Her research has focused on CEO leadership, with an emphasis on CEO succession and dismissal in publicly-listed companies. She has also made contributions to research on foreign direct investment and entrepreneurship in emerging markets, notably China. The influence of her research is also shown by the citations in many top business media outlets such as the Economist, Business Week, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, USA Today, and Financial Times. She served as an associate editor of Academy of Management Journal in 2010-2013 and a consulting editor of Management and Organization in 2010-2013. She is on the editorial review boards of Strategic Management Journal and Academy of Management Journal. She is the recipient of the 2010 SMS Emerging Scholar Award. She was a Representative-at-large of the Global Strategy Interest Group (January 2012-December 2013) and a Representative-at-large of the Corporate Strategy and Corporate Governance Interest Group (January 2010-December 2011) of SMS. She was the lead program co-chair of SMS China Conference in December 2012.
